The Green Move is a consulting agency focused on helping hospitality businesses to introduce and promote plant-based food options successfully.
We started our agency to find a way to promote plant-based food, make it more accessible and delicious but also to find a way to share the knowledge we have gained working in the industry for more than five years. We believe that having plenty of fully plant-based restaurants is nice, but not realistic (yet), and therefore strive to have great plant-based options at every restaurant!
What started as a vegan food blog with restaurant reviews in the busy city of Dubai has now became a full agency. Early on her vegan food blog journey, Ronja, the founder and now managing director, was contacted by restaurants to help develop plant-based options for their regular menus and ended up working with many different international concepts, such as restaurants, hotels and fast-food chains, who introduced vegan options with her help.
A few years into the blog, Ronja realized that just developing menu items is not always enough to launch a successful vegan menu or menu items. What was often missing were two key parts: effective marketing strategies and powerful knowledge. Further working with restaurant managers on these two points, being active in vegan communities across the world and completing her MBA at the University of Bradford helped her to professionalize her knowledge and strategies and share them with more and more clients.
And all of this with two clear goals in mind:
Ensuring hospitality businesses are aligned with the market to increase their revenues.
Finally making vegan dining hassle-free & delicious.
Since December 2019 we have specialized in creating strategic websites. We still enjoy doing that. We think it's great to be able to think along with concepts. We get energy from passionate entrepreneurs and are overflowing with happiness every time we have completed another great project.
We are certainly professional, but we do not believe that this should be at the expense of the personality and informality with which we communicate. It must all be pleasant and we prefer to put a smile on your face during every meeting and with every e-mail – without the quality or professionalism suffering.
In January 2021 we decided to focus more on companies that want to make the world a better place. Starters are still welcome, provided they are committed to a better world. Now senior entrepreneurs are also welcome, as long as they share that mission.
